The word Kurios means Lord. Camp Kurios has been serving the Lord through providing youth with summer camp experiences since 1987. From the start, we have carried this enduring purpose with us: to be a vessel for the love of the Jesus, shared through the very special experience of youth summer camp.

A dedicated staff of Christian counselors, recreation leaders, craft and Bible teachers work together to make each camper’s week an enjoyable and spiritually enriching experience.

The heart of was makes Camp Kurios special is the intentional community of loving volunteers serving with one purpose: to share the love of Jesus Christ with every camper. Campers tell us that they come back year after year to because Kurios fills them up in a way that is hard to express. It’s in the joy of friendships formed, the sound of voices raised in worship, the laughter around the campfire, and the transformation that happens when hearts draw close to Christ. It’s the unconditional love of Jesus expressed through a thousand little things that makes Kurios feel like a peice of heaven—and keeps us longing to come back together all year long.

For so many over the last 38 years, Kurios has been a foundational and transformative spiritual milestone, shaping their faith and identity in Christ for a lifetime. All glory to God!

KIDS CAMP SESSION

The Kids Camp session of Camp Kurios is for students who have completed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd grades prior to the beginning of summer camp. Kids Camp is the perfect introduction to overnight summer camp for children because it is just the weekend - arrival on Friday afternoon and pick up on Sunday. So our youngest campers can experience overnight camp without having to commit to a whole week away from home. By the time these campers "graduate" out of Kids Camp, they are super excited about going to the Junior Week session the following year.

We play lots of games each day. Kids Campers have a lot of fun while making memories that last a lifetime - they can be found canoeing, swimming, playing kickball, singing around the campfire at night for a rowdy campfire, attending fun action-oriented Bible classes, doing crafts, singing at worship in the evenings, and more.

JUNIOR WEEK SESSION

The Junior Week session of Camp Kurios is for students who have completed 4th, 5th, or 6th grades prior to the beginning of summer camp. Junior Week campers check in on a Sunday afternoon and we say farewell to them on the following Friday morning. It is is an action-packed, fun-filled session that students look forward to all year long. We play lots of games with our teams each day. Junior Week campers make memories that last a lifetime. They can be found swimming, playing kickball, fishing, singing around the campfire at night, attending Bible class each morning, doing crafts, prepping for the talent show, participating in worship in the evenings, and so much more.

senior WEEK SESSION

The Senior Week session of Camp Kurios is for students who have completed 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th, or 12th grades prior to the beginning of summer camp. Senior Week campers check in on a Sunday afternoon and the last camper has gone by Saturday by 9 am (after saying our goodbyes over a traditional Saturday donuts and juice breakfast). At the Senior Week session campers experience a more relaxed schedule than the younger sessions. In this environment campers can build new and revive old friendships and dive deeper into the spiritual focus of the week. There is still time for plenty of games with our teams each day. Senior Week campers have a lot of fun while making memories and friendships that last a lifetime. Campers can be found in the morning reading and praying during TAG (Time Alone with God), working on Capture the Flag strategies, worshipping God in song around the campfire at night, prepping for the talent show, cheering on players in the annual basketball tournament, hanging out with friends during free time, and more.
